Descripción del programa:

The Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) Program Curriculum at Universidad Ana G. Méndez consists of a four-year, competency-based educational program that will prepare graduates with the knowledge, skills, new dental technology, and values essential to the practice of dentistry in the digital age. The program requires 71 courses, 5148 (278 credits) hours, and eleven (11) in-class academic periods. The D.M.D. training program is designed to establish foundational knowledge in biomedical sciences, general dentistry, and oral health disciplinary contents necessary for state-of-the-art care. It will allow students to understand and diagnose each aspect of the patient’s oral health care with the patient’s overall dental and physical health. The Program is designed to provide graduate students with the skills, knowledge, and competencies to promote oral health, prevent oral disease, and intervene in the progression of oral disease to minimize the consequences that are caused by pathological development.
